Medical Terminology Course

Medical Terminology is a fascinating, ever-growing language used throughout the medical community. Knowledge of medical terminology equips a student for many medically related fields: pharmacology, the medical office and numerous hospital and health community positions. The Systems Approach outline used in this course will introduce students to the concept of building language using root words, prefixes and suffixes. The human body's anatomy, physiology and related pathology will also be covered and, upon successful completion of the course, students will have a basic understanding of these disciplines.

Anyone interested in health services would benefit greatly from this interesting and insightful course. This course provides students with a substantial knowledge of Medical Terminology which could be used either in preparation for licensing exams, real medical practice, or in successfully filling a position in Clinical Research . It is also focused on the Professional Language of Medical Licensing Exams.
